hey im a filmmaker going to buy a new camera. i need 3 chips, for sound i need 16 bit and 48mhz. and i need 2 be able 2 plug in a mike. can anyone suggest the cheapest camera out there with those specifications? i’d prefer sony or canon. please either reply or post a comment on my channel page. This camera is so good, still i think good old panasonic ag-dvx100 had much better color picture and was little better at low light situations. This sony also dont like lightened up stage in dark areas. And card reader was too faulty (2 of 3 gone not usable)

Yes it is the same camera. The E stands for European support where P stands for Pacific area support.
